Dr. David S. Clary is a board
certified prosthodontist. He is a graduate of Emory and Marquette University and limits his
practice to prosthodontics, one of the nine recognized specialties of the
American Dental Association.
Prosthodontists are dental
specialists in the restoration and replacement of teeth. They can
recommend and provide the best treatment available, including crowns and
bridges, partial dentures and complete dentures, veneers and bonding,
dental implant reconstruction and TMD - jaw joint problems.
The prosthodontists will
serve as the 'architect' of the dental treatment plan, as they provide
the diagnosis and proposed restorative plan in collaboration with
general dentists, specialists and other health professionals to develop
solutions to your dental concerns. Great care and pride is taken
in providing our patients with esthetically attractive and
natural-looking cosmetic restorations.
Cosmetic dentistry is not a
recognized specialty. However, prosthodontists, other dental
specialists and general dentists are all involved in this aspect of
dental care. Dr. Clary's post-graduate training included a two-year
prosthetic residency at Emory, followed by two-year dental geriatric
fellowship at the Milwaukee Veteran Administration Hospital and
Marquette University. He then received a Masters of Science degree
from Marquette.
